Auction #8: 0.65g Nevada Quartz/Gold Specimen

This gorgeous little Nevada specimen came to me fairly dirty.  I cleaned it with my simple 2-step process: HCl bath followed by ultrasonic "pickling".  It came out beautiful - the quartz gleams and the gold is somewhat crystalline in appearance.  A bit small to run an actual density test on, the specimen nonetheless feels quite "heavy" for its size.  I would casually estimate the gold content at 70-80% by weight, but don't hold me to that figure.
